Our accommodation is situated in a residential security complex where families and their children live. We aim to provide accommodation for holiday makers, tourists and families who are looking for a place to relax and settle down at night.
We have a strict no tolerance policy on parties, noise and alcohol abuse. Under no circumstances can or do we allow parties, gatherings or events to take place in the complex or our accommodation.
Any misconduct in terms of our policies could result in fines from the body corporate, immediate cancellation of your booking and a full forfeit of your security deposit and booking fees. Unfortunately we have had issues previously and have to ensure that potential guests are aware of the rules and consequences of misconduct. The rules are set out below:
We cannot allow gatherings or parties in our apartment or complex at all.
No more than 6 people may accommodate the apartment at any time.
Shouting, loud music and any type of consistent loud noise will not be tolerated. Children are not an issue.
Any type of noise or music after 8PM is not allowed and will not be tolerated.
Alcohol abuse and drunken behaviour on the premises will not be tolerated.
If the purpose of your getaway presents any conflict to the rules set out above please seek an alternative suitable venue in order to avoid loss of your deposits. Complex security retains the right to evict any tenants who do not abide by the rules set out above.
IMPORTANT: Like all reputable hotels and guest houses – we require prepayment.
In order to secure your booking with us, a booking deposit of 50% of the booking value is payable within 48 hours of making your reservation. If payment is not received within 48 hours we may cancel your reservation without notice.
The balance of the booking value (50%) will be payable by EFT 48 hours prior to arrival.
Full payment must reflect in our account BEFORE ARRIVAL.
Deposits are refundable until 30 days before the date of your arrival.
Proof of Payment for all EFT payments must be emailed to email@example.com with your name as reference.
Once payment has been made and proof of payment received we will reserve the requested dates the calendar on all websites from being booked. Unless the booking deposit is received and reflects in our accounts, the unit is available to clients on other websites for booking. Booking is on a first come, first serve basis. Minimum stays apply during peak seasons.
Rates are quoted in South African Rand (R). Rates are subject to confirmation and availability and may change without prior notice. Reservations are subject acceptance of our terms and conditions before check-in. Right of admission reserved.
If monies are deposited into our account incorrectly we do not refund until cleared with our bank. We will only refund directly into the original payer’s account less any banking and transaction fees.
5. ADDITIONAL CHARGES
The following additional charges apply to all reservations:
Cleaning Fee: R200
Fully refundable security and breakages deposit: R1000
6. CHILD POLICY
We will only allow accompanying children by prior written arrangement with management.
7. CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES
Check-in: from 15h00 – 22h00
Check-out: before 11h00 – late check-outs are only possible if rooms are empty the following day.
Late arrivals: To be arranged with management.
Early arrivals: Early check-in is only possible if the room is ready for occupation.
7. ACCEPTED MEANS OF PAYMENT
We only accept EFT as means of payment.
8. CANCELLATION POLICY
WE HAVE A STRICT CANCELLATION AND NON ARRIVAL POLICY – PLEASE READ IT BEFORE CONFIRMING THE BOOKING.
Like all Hotels and Guest Houses we have a strict Cancellation policy to protect us against cancellations. We only have one self-catering apartment available and cannot make up for lost business. We have a live calendar with Nightsbridge which connects to many websites around the world giving instant online availability. Once a room is booked, it is no longer available to sell on these websites.
Companies/Travel agencies operating on a Bill back basis will also be liable to pay cancellation fees if cancelled whether we have a voucher or not.
Please ensure that you or your clients are aware of our policy before making a booking at our establishment.
For cancellations more than 30 days prior to the arrival date you will be liable for 0% of the total booking fee.
For cancellations more than 15 days but less than 30 days prior to the arrival date you will be liable for 50% of the total booking fee.
For cancellations between 15 days prior arrival and arrival date you will be liable for 100% of the total booking fee.
For non-arrival/no-show or premature departure you will be liable for 100% of the total booking fee.
The liability arises irrespective of whether or not we are holding a deposit from you.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Guests agree on behalf of themselves and the members of their parties that neither the establishment, its owners, employees nor agents shall be responsible for any injury or death of any person or the loss or destruction of or damage to any property upon the premises, whether arising from fire, theft or any cause and by whomsoever caused or arising from the negligence (gross or otherwise) or wrongful act of any person in the employment of the guesthouse.
Any damage caused by guests to property and premises due to bad behavior or carelessness, or keys lost and replaced for security reasons will be for the guests account.
By booking with us you are accepting our terms and conditions and will be held accountable accordingly.
